CEO Asks for $10 Million Bonus Amidst Layoffs

Merrill Lynch CEO John Thain asked for $10 million bonus amidst company layoffs.  It's true Merrill Lynch is in better shape than many of its Wall Street brethren, they haven't gone broke, but they did still lose over $11 billion this year.  Campbell Brown takes him to task.

Organic milk at Target is $2.69

And he's probably one of the people who thinks the auto workers should take a pay cut.

YIKES! I'm sure he did a good job given the circumstances, but come on have a little restraint. Did he fly in by corporate jet to ask for the money?

The CEO's of these businesses are completely out of touch. I don't expect them to know the cost of milk, I don't know that, but you can't ask for money as you're laying people off or right after you land in your corporate jet.
