Resident Kellie Davideit is on a mission: A mission to help children hospitalized during the holiday season feel community love and support from the feet-up. Kellie is organizing a collection of new slippers as a special little "we love you" message to the kids.
Last year's collection was a success with 100 pairs of slippers donated. But the prior year, Kellie collected over 150 pairs - a number she's hoping to reach again this year.
According to Kellie "this program has been very well-received and so appreciated by the children, parents of patients, and the wonderful Pediatric staff at St. Peter's hospital. Please help us in collecting NEW Children's Slippers for St. Peter's Pediatric Patients, so we can keep their toes warm and brighten their day!"
