Last Saturday night Alex Dawson, owner of The Raconteur, released his first novel, The Rapscallion Club, at a packed event. There were fencers, a bagpiper, South American food and drink, and the of course the book.

They really should hold their events in a bigger space. When I've gone there it is too claustrophobic with all the bookshelves.
The kids had an awesome time. Ran a little late if your kids were on the younger side, but they had a lot to jam in there.
