Brainy Boro Post Office Opens Drive & Parking Again!

u17740462.jpgI don't know about you but I would never try to cross Central Avenue on foot to get to the Brainy Boro post office. All this time that its property has been closed to drive-through traffic and didn't allow parking in their lot, I haven't bothered to use that branch. And I know I'm not alone. However, driivng by this morning, I noticed that the signs had changed, that cars can drive through the driveway and parking is available again. A quick call to the branch and they confirmed that all is well! No more Frogger-like runs across Central Avenue required for brave souls needing postal services. So the next time you go in, let them know that they made a very neighborly decision and you appreciate it!

I love the name Brainy Boro, but doesn't it seem strange that such a small town has two post offices?

I can finally go back to the "Brainy Boro" P.O. without risking my life.

Yay! That's great news. My clients always comment when I have things hand-cancelled "Brainy Boro".

I heard the solution came about because Pallone's office got involved.

thank goodness!! I was getting tired of parking in the car wash lot! Seriously, if you were coming from St. Joe's to the post office there was no where to park!!

Now that's a good change in town. However, I don't believe the postal employees are the ones to thank - or at least they said that they were not the ones to blame when the parking in the lot was taken away when I asked them about it - so logic would dictate that they are also not the ones to thank.
I would be interested to know how/why both changes came about anyway?
