Thanks to information provided by a reader, we've learned that the Senior Center (15 Center Street) is in need of a few used books. Maybe you can drop off a few if you head over to the Traffic Circulation Workshop.
Has everyone forgotten how to use the phone? Call 732-632-8524, ask for Alice Fleming, director of the senior center, and ask her what kind of books they want.
Per Mrs. Fleming - pretty much anything but textbooks. Mysteries always popular. Paperback or hardcover.

The library sells their donations to get money for library programs.
Since the library gets so overloaded, maybe they, too, would sned some of their stuff over there.
Make a request on www.freecycle.org. You can usually find some there.
I have tons; all sorts. Do we know what genres are preferred?
What kind of books? Novels? Biographies? History?
