Peace March on Route 27

Gas Station 003.jpgApproximately 25 marchers paraded down Route 27 on Friday at about 1:00 pm.  There was no permit on file with the police department and so the identity of the group is unknown.  But they were carrying rainbow peace flags, wearing bright yellow hats, and drumming a beat to accompany their steps. It was a bit of entertainment and some provocative thought for drivers waiting at the red light.

Thanks so much for sharing that! I really enjoyed the video and background information.

This was the (actually 8th annual) "Walk for A New Spring" across the seaboard. They have been walking since valentines day from western Massachusetts to reach DC on April 8.

Luke was the "author" in Latin, King James hired the translators, who butchered it.

I believe it's Luke.

Take it up with James

What about women?

Peace on earth to men of goodwill

Power to the Peaceful!!

Some people choose to exercise their constitutional rights in public, and some choose to do so anonymously, as is their right.

It's nice to see that some people enjoy standing up for their views in public, not just anonymously on the internet.

They're just some people walking on the sidewalk, why would they need a permit? Don't we still have freedom of assembly?
