How Much Is That Painting in the Empty Storefront's Window?

A reader commented recently that perhaps a fitting use for the time being for those empty storefronts would be impromptu art galleries--showcasing local art and introducing prospective renters to the spaces available on Main Street. So we pose this question to those who own these spaces: Would you be willing to make your space available as both a way to help local craftspeople AND provide a winning showcase for your empty storefronts? This might be a totally whimsical idea with no footing but isn't it times like these that require the most 'out of the box' thinking? Developers and building owners, let us know what you think!

Thanks so much, Peter! We will be delighted to incorporate that into the Junebug plan for exhibits.

I would be happy to allow artists to display their work in the windows of The Forum Theatre as well as the lobby area. Anything to improve the look sights and sounds of the downtown area should be applauded. Thinking out of the box is exactly what needs to be done and I would be more than happy to make the theatre available.
I also applaud the Mayor as well as the town council for allowing art to be displayed in Borough Hall.
