Decade? Maybe century.

Really, where is that world and what decade did you grow up in?

The first party you attended with booze was in college?

Wow, talk about sheltered. Were you in the Glee Club too?

Where, oh where, is the world where I grew up? The first party I attended where booze was served to underaged kids was my freshman year of college.

yeah, thought all the Metuchen High kids were shooting up heroin already, least thats what I read on these blogs

But the question is do those signs do anything at all about it?

Did anyone notice that this article was about the POOL??? Maybe those of you boozers who can't read should worry about that -- instead of the adults who would like to have a safe prom and graduation time. I remember taking my youngest brother to college and passing the funeral home and wake of two 18 year old cousins in our town. They had an alcohol-related accident. How devestating to their families. I'd bet that they would have posted signs in their yard.

Absolutely inefficient! When did we become such a sign happy town? It seems like the people who post the most signs in this town are automatically qualified for public office. Signs are for the weak-minded morons driving around this town waiting for the next cause.....

Are you kidding? Your son and his friends are laughing at these ridiculous signs!!!

visual pollution, i understand the idea, just seems like an inefficient use of money that could probably be used in a better manner to help cut down on underrage boozers.

The type is so small you can hardly read them.

I have a teenage son who's going to the prom this year for the first time. I am glad to see Metuchen is doing something to deter underage drinking before this big event. Thanks to whoever did this.

Who is paying for these signs. That is the question. In these hard economic times do we really have such a problem? I heard the Mrs Sinatra sent a 6 page letter, which by the way, I would think the folks who need a lesson would not read. What exactly is reasoning for it?

What is the deal with the new signs all over town? Do we have such a problem with underage drinking that we need lawn signs?
