Thank you, Raymond John Salon for a great fund-raising event for EMS (and for making a bald guy feel welcome)! Thanks too, to BullDog Deli for supplying sandwiches and fixings for the event. These are two great South Main St. businesses that could use your support! BTW The Salon looks great from the outside, but it also has a very cool interior - stop in and check it out.
Good one, Peter. I don't have much hair but what I do have is in the care of Raymond John Salon. I highly recommend Metuchenites check it out on July 12th and help this very worthy cause. I am betting you'll keep going back for the high quality services they provide.
Owner Ray DiTomasso recently joined his salon into the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce and is an active voice in trying to help south Main Street garner greater attention. I am thankful for his work and consider him a friend. Also contributing to this great fund raising event is the Bulldog Deli, another prominent South Mainer, who will be providing all of the food.
If you're in town on the 12th and you have hair (Chris and Pete don't!) or finger nails, try to find some time to swing by the salon. You all know the building, it's the terracotta one on the left headed out of Metuchen. If you think it's nice on the outside, wait to you see the inside.
A very good cause We have been helped out by the Metuchen First Aid squad here at The Forum on several occasions. I hope their donations increase with the cut-a-thon.
Kudos as well to Raymond John Salon for sponsoring the event! I would be there myself if I had any hair! I'll send my wife instead.
