But instead she'll be reading from her brilliant novel Cracks, a feverish mash up of Lord of the Flies and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie set at a South African boarding school for girls. The film version of Cracks, due out later this year, stars Eva Green (Casino Royale) as the provocative and charismatic Miss G, a teacher whose encouragement of a sapphic "crack" (or crush) held by one of her pupils has dire results.
