November 14th is Operation Medicine Cabinet at the Police Department

According to the Partnership for a Drug-Free America, teens abuse prescription and over-the-counter drugs, including sleeping pills and cold medications--2500 kids a day end up taking something out of a family member's medicine cabinet to get high. OTC drugs, when used properly, are safe but can be overdosed very easily. On November 14th,between the hours of 10AM and 2PM at the Metuchen Police Department headquarters at Boro Hall, 500 Main Street, your old and expired medications wlll be collected and disposed of properly, averting this new trend in drug abuse.
