Guess I should have said to the townhouses being built, lol. One of the houses is especially nice.

This Amboy Ave. resident rejoices at beauty replacing an eyesore...and the infusion of new residents with potential for lively enthusiasm and creative involvement in our wonderful town. Thanks to those who care enough about Metuchen to have worked to make this happen. New Life...pushing through the December snows!
Housing for 12 more wealthy families instead of a park that might have been enjoyed by many more. This developer greed with politician approval goes back to the Irongate condo's destroying Hansen Hill in the early 1980's- the best sleigh-riding area ever in Metuchen. Money and greed increase ratables AND taxes, and traffic. Metuchen hasn't been the Brainy Borough in decades. How about more facilities for SENIORS- THOSE WHO BUILT THE TOWN- and fewer Taj Mahals for wealthy Johnny-Come-Latelies.
