Central Avenue Block 82/Lots 1.01, 2.01, 8, 16.01 Zone B-4; Block 83/Lots 1-8, 9.01, 9.02, 28, 29
It may not just be "young" single people, but older single people or retired couples who've seriously downsized. I'm not making a judgement on whether or not there is too much development, but I do know several older people who eventually want to get out of their big houses but don't really want to leave the their family and friends in this area.
Who's going to live in all these 1-bedroom apartments? Do young single people really want to move to Metuchen? 33 units on Central, 100+ units in the Renaissance project, 12+ units on Amboy, several units where old bike shop was. Toooooo much development (in my opinion).
