The Metuchen area is forecast to receive significant accumulations of snow, sleet and ice in this storm.

• Please stay off the roads unless travel is necessary.
• Keep cars in the driveways and off the street to allow plowing by DPW.
• Do not put snow from your property into the public street.
• Check on elderly and disabled neighbors.
• Clear sidewalks and nearby hydrants as soon as possible.
• Dress for conditions. Don't over do it.
• Plan for power failures. Be careful with candles and space heaters.
