StakeLand Screening with Filmmakers' Discussion at Forum Sponsored by Raconteur Oct. 25

Having been cheered by NPR, The New Yorker, and Salon.com, Director/Writer Jim Mickle (and Star/Co-writer Nick Damici) will screen and discuss their New York Times Critic's Pick, Stake Land, a smart, pitch perfect horror thriller set in a post-apocalyptic world somewhere between Romero and The Road with a special onstage conversation between Mickle, Damici, and Fangori and Fear Mongers host Clay Mcleod Chapman. All tickets are $15 - at the Forum, October 25th.This program is resented by The Raconteur in conjunction with The Forum and Crystal Plumage Films.

The Forum and The Raconteur have a history of successful collaboration, co-presenting a series of special guest film screenings which have included visits by such notable directors as Todd Solondz (Palindromes), Ariel Schulman (Catfish), 2008 Oscar winner Pamela Boll (Born into Brothels) and 2010 Oscar winner Alex Gibney (Gonzo, Taxi to the Dark Side).
