From the CQE:
For nearly 25 years, Citizens
for Quality Education (CQE) has worked to pass school budgets in Metuchen. During
the month of March, the organization runs both a Voter Registration Drive and
an Absentee Ballot Campaign. CQE encourages all Metuchen citizens to vote in
the School Board Elections, which will be held this year on April 17. Please
see the Website (http://metuchencqe.org/boe-elections/important-dates/)
for important dates, information and forms to register to voter and
to apply for an absentee ballot application.
In addition, CQE representatives will be at the Metuchen High School cafeteria during lunch periods on Thursday March 1 and Thursday March 8 to register all interested students who will be 18 years old on or before April 17. Students will need either their NJ Driver's License number or the last four digits of their Social Security number to complete the registration form.
