Support Brian Tobin in Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics Feb. 25th

In Honor of his Nephew Colin, Metuchen native Brian Tobin is Participating in the 2012 Polar Bear Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics New Jersey on Saturday, February 25, 2012 as he does every year.

Tobin told MM, "I am a proud member of the CAT Crew (Colin Allan Tobin Crew!) and would appreciate any support that you can give me as I dip my toes and butt and head into the freezing cold Atlantic Ocean. All funds raised through the Polar Bear Plunge help to advance the goal of Special Olympics New Jersey, to provide free year-round training and competition in 24 Olympic-type sports to more than 21,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities." Cablevision last year made a very informative and interesting video about Brian and his family.

Online donations of $25, $50, $100 (or any amount) are easily made by visiting his personal donation page and helping Brian reach his fundraising goal.

Pay online with a credit card--past this address into your browser to get to the site:

https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=488354&supId=312765390 so you can print out the attached document and mail the document and your check made out to Special Olympics New Jersey to my attention at 84 Main Street, Metuchen, NJ 08840.  Brian will bundle the checks and deliver to the Special Olympics himself.

Brian Tobin says "Thank you so much in advance.  It really does mean so much to me."
