From Lynn Kodila, the coordinator/brains behind METUCHEN CASH MOB:

Fantastic, how area businesses are offering 10% to 15% entire restaurant bill for tomorrow in Metuchen and some great give always like a Wall Hanging, a beautiful gift basket, an hour massage, LOTS MORE... come out to CASH MOB. It's going to be lots of fun to shop in Metuchen @What's the Scoop Sat. 3/24 2-5PM (come have ice cream & pizza and get your flier for more fun) Stay in town for more shopping & dinner.

Metuchen Matters asked Lynn what inspired this development project for downtown:

I was inspired by the coverage of Andrew Samtoy's Cash Mob in Ohio in November 2011.  Metuchen is a small town and I've seen many stores close their doors.  This idea seems like a perfect match for locals to show their love for their community and practice celebrating local economy.  I would like to have this event again and again. As a local professional, I hope this event creates a stronger support for area business.

Here is how it works and what you will find downtown TOMORROW:

Everyone goes to What's the Scoop and buys ice cream.  Lynn will be there to hand out the flier which incorporates all of the following offers:
