From the Chamber of Commerce:
Metuchen Market Day will be
returning soon. Last year's market was a huge success with thousands of
visitors during the season. This year is going to be even better. And you can
be a part of the market's success.
Chamber members can reserve a space in the market for one week at no cost. Additional weeks are available at very attractive rates. Food vendor or not, you can promote your business. Spaces are limited and are on a first come first served basis. Please contact David Glasofer at david@imageup.com for more information.
All residents of Metuchen, New
Jersey, and the surrounding communities, including Edison, Iselin, Woodbridge,
and Plainfield, are invited to participate in a survey to help improve and
shape the future of the Metuchen farmers market. A link to the survey is
available on the Metuchen Market Day homepage: http://www.metuchenmarketday.com.
"We are extremely proud of the progress we made last year," says Nelson Li, market manager, "but that's just a start. We want to make the market better and better each year. That's why input from the community is so important - it helps us decide where to make changes and focus our energy."
The market, located at the corner of Pearl and New Streets, will be open from 9 am to 2 pm every Saturday from June through October. Opening Day is on Saturday, June 16. For more information, visit the website, http://www.metuchenmarketday.com, or contact Nelson Li at metuchenfarmersmarket@gmail.com.
