From the BIL:
The Borough Improvement League of Metuchen is happy to announce the creation of a new an on-line collaborative listing of local events which we hope assist with navigating and publicizing the many wonderful things our little brainy borough has to offer. Between the Borough, Chamber of Commerce, schools, churches, non-profits, cultural offering, sporting event, etc., there is clearly a lot going on, and our hope is that this calendar will be a resource to those in our community who plan public meetings & events as much as it will be a source of information for residents. The possibilities are endless when we work together, and we hope that the "Brainy Borough Bulletin Board" will complement the fantastic services already offered to our community through both The Criterion's weekly newspaper and Metuchen Matter's on-line reporting. If you have an event you would like to suggest, click on the "submit your event" button to fill out a form to be sent for review by the calendar's moderators. This is a collaborative effort, so if you see something missing, send it in! Community minded items of general interest, events that you would hang flyers about, and other notable goings-on are all welcome, and will be interfaced with our school calendars, public holidays, parades, etc.The site was only "born" last week; it is still very sparing in terms of appearance and features, and there is still a lot of information to be added. But as we said, if you see something that needs to be added, click on "submit your event"!http://www.calendarwiz.com/calendars/calendar.php?crd=metuchenevents&(if the link doesn't work here, go to the BIL's site and click onto it from the events page)http://www.boroughimprovementleague.org/8.html

Thank you for sharing this... it looks like this simpler URL also works for getting to the community calendar: http://www.calendarwiz.com/metuchenevents
Maybe a little easier to remember and share?
Also hoping that iCal will be enabled on the CalendarWiz calendar, which will allow people to import events into Outlook, Google Calendar, iPhone, Android phone, etc., making it much easier to keep track of upcoming events as they are added and to set personal reminders for events of interest.
