Summer 2012 YA Programs Schedule Available -- Registration NOW

On Saturday, June 2 at 10 AM, the Young Adult Department of the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Avenue, officially kicks off Summer 2012 when registration opens for all programs (which are free!) for Metuchen residents who will be entering 6th-12th grade in the fall. Programs include community service projects, a high school book club, a middle school book club, and classes in creative writing, painting, robotics, martial arts, theatre games, and more.  To see the complete programs list, click HERE.  Please sign up early to ensure a spot by visiting the Library, calling 732.632.8526 or writing KLisss@Lmxac.org starting on June 2. 

Also on Saturday June 2: Between 10 AM and noon, the Teen Advisory Board of the Metuchen Library will host a Library Scavenger Hunt for students who will be entering grades 6-12 next fall.  Come to the Young Adult area on the first floor to pick up a set of clues and instructions.  One winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.

Everyone who signs up for summer programs or participates in the scavenger hunt at the Library on Saturday, June 2 between 10 AM and noon will receive a free book of their choice.  All the Young Adult Summer 2012 Programs, books and prizes are paid for by the Friends of the Metuchen Public Library.
