CASABLANCA: A Staged Radio Play! 7 PM, Fri. June 8 @ Stage Left in
New Brunswick |

Featuring Carlyle Owens, Laurence
Mintz, Francesca Tedeschi, Michael Jarmus, and Alex Dawson "Of all the gin joints, in
all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine." Celebrate the 75th anniversary of
the world's favorite gin joint with a staged dramatization at New Jersey's top ranked cocktail bar! Against the bustling background of an American
nightclub in a North African port, through which pours a steady tap of
connivers and crooks, a thrilling cocktail of high intrigue and unrequited
love is precisely prepared. Casablanca: easy to enter, but so hard to leave.
Especially for Victor Laszlo, legendary leader of the underground. Wanted by the Nazis, his only hope is Rick Blaine, the
cyncial expatriate owner of Rick's Cafe, who sticks his neck out for no man.
Particularly if that man is the new husband of ex flame Ilsa. When Ilsa
offers herself in exchange for helping Laszlo escape, the bitter Blaine must
decide what counts more - personal happiness or the countless lives hanging
in the balance. With live musical interlude, As Time Goes By, sung by
jazz vocalist Tedeschi. Includes champagne cocktail and
multi-course menu. For details or to reserve online, click HERE. |

OR... Maybe you can't make the June 8
date, or maybe Stage Left's Lobster Vichyssoiseou and Stuffed
Lamb Loin don't fit into your budget. But don't fret, ladies and gentleman, Rac Radio will be staging Casablanca at their
current home base in Metuchen, Frankie Ol' Skool (a.k.a. the Old Franklin
School), 8:30 Sat. June 16 for the low, low price of $10! As always, my friends,
