From the Superintendent's Office:

First-year, grade one teacher, Candace Ehmann, from Metuchen's Campbell School brought donations of goods and toys to Ms. Kathy Kirk, a teacher at the preschool in Highlands.  Ms. Ehmann commented on how Ms. Kirk "told me how terrible it is there at this time."  Ehmann added, "She even said some kids are asking how Santa will know where they are if they don't have a home."  Metuchen Superintendent, Vince Caputo, said he was thrilled that Ms. Ehmann had spearheaded this effort at Campbell School.  Ms. Ehmann was extremely proud of the students at Campbell and said, "I am so thankful that we were able to help this school  on their road to recovery!"

In the first picture, Lily Almeida, student council president, poses with Ms. Ehmann.  In the second, Ms. Ehmann's first grade class also displayed their homemade cards and posters for the preschoolers "sending them warm wishes". Congratulations on a job well done!
