Take a look at the agenda for the Borough Council tonight. They will be discussing, among other things, putting up several pedestrian signs at important intersections in town. If you have something to say, you should go there and let them know. Otherwise, it's live on METV.
Thanks for posting! Just to clarify, it's actually something called Pedestrian Flags, and we are going to try them at a couple of intersections to see how they work here. They were an idea suggested by a couple residents who had seen them used elsewhere in the country. I don't know how much actually discussion there will be tonight, BUT, there is a Town Meeting about Pedestrian Safety coming up soon - Monday, February 25th (more about that soon).
