On Sunday March 10, 2013 at 2 PM,
there will be an Open Mic at the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Avenue,
for all Metuchen residents (grades 6-12) interested in sharing their work.
The program will be hosted by journalist Jana Siciliano (Metuchen Matters)
and will include some of the students from her The Write Stuff writing
workshop. ALL musicians, writers, poets, filmmakers, comedians, painters,
sculptors, etc. are encouraged to share their art! If you'd like to take
part in the Open Mic, please write KLiss@Lmxac.org or info@metuchenmatters.com. The Open
Mic is free and open to everyone who wishes to attend. Refreshments will
be served and are paid for by the Friends of the Metuchen Library.
