Aditya Uppuluri, a junior at Metuchen High School, has been selected by our local American Legion Post 65 of Metuchen to serve as a delegate in the Boys State Program at Rider University this summer. American Legion Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for U.S. high-school students. Aditya is among the top students in his class, with a cumulative GPA of a 4.5. He is an AP Scholar, and is currently taking five AP courses.   MHS Principal, Bruce Peragallo, said, "In addition to his academic success, Aditya has shown a tremendous level of commitment to his school and surrounding community. He is the Captain of the Varsity Tennis team, and has spent countless hours volunteering at JFK Medical Center, to name a few."  Tiffany M. Goodson, Supervisor of Guidance & School Counseling, proudly added,  "Aditya possesses an insurmountable enthusiasm to learn, and is thrilled to represent Metuchen High School at such a prestigious program."
