October 1                  Zumbini! Babies and toddlers with parents sing, dance, and play instruments together. An innovative new program where Child development meets ZUMBA! Join us for a FREE demo class at 9:30 am.  The 10 week session begins on October 8th.

 

October 5                  LOL! Comedy Night, featuring renowned comedian, Steve Mittleman. Join us for three acts of comedy, with Steve Mittleman headlining.  Also performing are Harriet Rose and John Debellis. The laughs begin at 7:30 pm.  BYOB, nosh, candy bar, and dessert The cost per ticket is $25 in advance, $30 at the door.  Contact us for tickets- 732-549-4442.  21 and older only.

 

October 11               Shabbat ALIVE! A joyous and participatory musical service. Come raise your voices to the heavens as we share your pleasure.  Music provided by our new trio, with our own Rabbi Vaisberg, who plays a mean guitar. 7:00 p.m.


October 13               Chapter 3 Mature Singles Chavurah! Join us as we visit the amazing Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ.  We will meet at 10 am at the Omega Diner on Rt. 1 in North Brunswick, and then proceed to Hamilton for a guided tour of the sculpture park at 1 pm.  The entrance fee for the Grounds for Sculpture is $10.  RSVP by October 4.

October 19               Anti Racist Alliance. Representatives of the NJ Anti Racist Alliance presenting Part III of a participatory workshop entitled Jews for Justice: The Confluence of Jewish Identity, Racial Identity and Tikkun Olam. We will examine the ways social justice work strengthens ourselves, our community and our practice of Judaism. Those who have attended our first two installments of this program found them to be inspirational. If you were there, come back for more. If you missed the first one, welcome aboard! We begin at 7:00pm with a potluck (no Meat!) dinner, followed by the program.

October 25               TOT Shabbat!  An age-appropriate Friday evening Shabbat program for younger children up to six years old which also includes a Jewish-themed art/craft session. The program starts at 6 pm.
