Fresh Fish Now Available Every Saturday at Metuchen Farmers Market
JULY XX, 2016 METUCHEN, NJ - Get your fresh fish! On Saturday, July 23rd, Metuchen Farmers Market welcomes Jersey City Fish Stand, the newest addition to its weekly, Saturday market participants.
Organically raised and wild-caught fish serve as a welcome addition to the strong collection of fresh, top-quality goods that Metuchen Farmers Market provides to the community.
Market Manager, Nelson Li explains, "Previously, we had no seafood offerings so we are really excited about the addition of Jersey City Fish Stand. Now local residents can get everything they need for the perfect summer barbecue at the farmers market, including fresh fish to grill. Please join me in welcoming them this Saturday."
Jersey City Fish Stand Co-Owner, John Sabochick adds, "We are very excited to participate in the Metuchen Farmers Market and get to know everyone. Each market day will feature a different selection depending on what's catching. Local catches such as black sea bass, monk fish, scallops, fluke, tilefish and more will also be featured. We enjoy letting our customers know where and how each fish was caught, and offer suggestions on how to prepare it. Please stop by, try our fish and feel free to ask us lots of questions!"
The Metuchen Farmers Market runs every Saturday through November, rain or shine from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Metuchen Senior Center Parking Lot located at the corner of New and Center Streets. Parking is available in the back of the A&P Liquors Parking Lot. The new parking deck also offers free parking for 3 hours on Saturdays.
