Did you know what Metuchen Public Library Card can do for you? 
Anyone who lives in and pays property taxes in the Borough of Metuchen is eligible to receive a Metuchen Public Library Card, free of charge, with full privileges to library materials, resources, and programs. The library card will be updated every three years. 
 
Your library card can...................
  • Allows you to check out a variety of library materials, renew items, place holds through library's online catalog.
  • Allows you to register STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programs for Metuchen Makery, such as Makery Camp, Math Club, 3D Printing & Design, Robotics, and Coderdojo computer programming, etc.
  • Allows you to sign up for free museum passes, currently the Intrepid, Guggenheim and Morris Museums, compliments of the Friends of the Metuchen Library.
  • Allows you to access online databases and download eBooks, eAudiobooks, and other e-resources 24/7 from the comfort of your home, such as Hoopla (movies, music, television and audiobooks),Universal Class (online educational courses), Zinio (digital magazines), Consumer Reports and more.
  • Allows you to learn a language online through Mango Language and Rosetta Stone.
  • Gives you access to InfoBase Learning, which has a variety of online learning tools such as the kid's almanac, online history, online science and more.
  • Gives you access to Learning Express Library for practice tests, skill building courses for elementary students to adult learners.
 
All of these services are available to Metuchen residents free of charge. Come in and visit the Metuchen Library and sign up for a library card today!
