This is certainly good news for the district, considering the heavy burdens placed on it in this economy, particularly with New Jersey not getting any Race to the Top funding.&nbsp;<div><br /></div><div>Are you excited by this change? Does this bode well for the district as it stands or is there still a lot of work to be done? What changes do you think were enacted by the district that caused this uptick? For one hardworking player from Metuchen, that dream is now a reality!<div><br /></div><div>Marqus Blakeley, Metuchen native, University of Vermont superstar, has found his way to the NBA, signing with the Clippers for two years. As an undrafted rookie, he has an uphill climb ahead of him but he's ready for it. Here's a recent&nbsp;<a href="http://clipperblog.com/2010/08/29/meet-marqus-blakely/">interview </a>with the up-and-coming star.<div><br /><div>Blakeley is the rare player drafted into the NBA who is a four-year collegiate starter.
